My Wasteland

"My Wasteland" is the hit song off the soundtrack to "Chuck and the Chair," a feature-length comedy by BBQ Bacon Productions. The song was created by the filmmakers for a scene in which some minor characters needed a douchey song to listen to in their car. During filming, the crew used a song by Nickelback. Due to obvious copyright restrictions, we could not use Nickelback in the final version. So one night, we created the band Quarterback, which is five times the band Nickelback will ever be, and recorded this parody song.
