Joe Inglis, MORETHAN vet, gives advice about how often you should deworm your pet.

Advice and opinions are Joe Inglis' own. Always read the label on any medicine before use and if in any doubt contact your vet.

  • My cats are all indoors cats and never go outside, 'cept to the vet.

Should I still deworm them. Most (I've 6 cats) of them were dewormed at some point or another but I have not dewormed them for years.

I don't see any worms in there stool and most have been to the vet for things like dentals etc. He never mentioned deworming. Should I have asked him?

My cats range in age from about 5 1/2 yrs to 15 1/2 yrs.

  • I love that this tells the truth about worming. I give a monthly heartworm preventative to all my dogs, but as far as intestinal parasites I only use Pyrantel Pamoate every 4-6 months. (I have pomeranians and they are NOT an outdoor breed) Great Video =)
