When you think about it, I agree with the Mets in not trading prospects like Martinez and Niese, for a player who would turn free agent in a year, but you have to think, if the Mets had Halladay and Santana, that'd be the best righty-lefty 1-2 punch since Randy Johnson and Curt Schilling

Mets need to be patient with this kid. Hes not going to come up to the majors and hit .300 from the get go at his ripe age. Let him grow and develop in AAA, he has all the time in the world.

he could have been a blue jay but omar didnt want to trade fernando martinez, jon niese, and a couple of other minor leguers for roy halliday which was a stupid deal thank god he didnt accept that trade these top prospects could be the same or better than one player in roy halliday
