I still can't remember wich temple I'm at..I am in Tokyo somewhere but my tour guide told me once and I just can't remember the name. Still a very impressive gate! The temple it's self is behind me and..is closed due to constrution to maintain it so I could not enter. The small peices of paper you see are fortunes that have been drawn. If it's a bad or unlucky fortune it is customary to tie it to a branch or in this case a peice of wood to help stop the bad luck from happening!

My apologize about the shacky camera work but for most of this I am holding and umbrella trying to keep the camera and myself dry while holding a ton of bags from shopping in my other hand throwing me off balance.
