  • to renumeratedfrog, I have used these knives for over 40 years. I backpack, hike..but the best use is for sailing. The spike is also called a marlin spike (i guess you could use it to help bring a large fish onto the boat) but I used it for untangling wet knots. One carries a knife while sailing because sometimes it essential to cut lines (ropes) in emergencies to keep a boat from heeling over too far in a sudden gust of wind. So while holding on to the mast you can cut the line. Great!

  • @ripcalwill

    great points, thanks

  • @Leonidasll75 everything's illegal in ny.

  • Dammit Its illegal in NY!

  • where can i buy this knife?

  • im gessing that this knife failed a lot when a german tryed to stab and it hit and went back in

  • It's not made by BUND. Bund is short for the whole german military organisation including procurement and everything else that has to do with the german armed forces. If "BUND" is written on some piece of german military stuff, it's the same as in the us where they write "US" on every military piece of equipment.

  • Freakin Assasin Knife :D HELL YEAH

  • I have one that my grandfather took off a dead German paratrooper during WWII. Its stainless steal and has a wooden handle, but shaped almost identical to the one in the video....

  • @HerrJohann72 Roughly 1/6 of Earth's gravity. That's what all the sources say, and that's what I got whenever I calculated it.

  • @ripcalwill I'm reasonably sure it's nickname as a Marlin Spike is a reference to the fish's face, and not as a suggestion for use.

  • najo guckt mich an bin ein elch
