This album really doesn't get enough love. No, it's not an Ozzy album. No, it's not "Heaven & Hell" or "The Mob Rules". But it IS a damn good album. We get Dio's epic pipes and see Sabbath at its heaviest.

Yes, I am an old-school Sabbath purist. Yes, I tend to prefer the direction that band was headed in, back when Ozzy was their front man. And yes, I know that we've all heard this a million times before, from other aging Sabbath fans.

So okay -- fuck all of that. Let's just talk about "Dehumanizer."

This is, in my opinion, the most vicious and downright NASTY album that Sabbath ever produced. And I mean "nasty" in a good way. These may very well be the best vocals of Dio's entire career.

Thank you for this. You shouldn't have made excuses for sound quality. It was fine. I'm just sad that no one got this prophetic message, released twenty years ago, that technology would enslave and inevitably destroy us all. My marriage was destroyed by Facebook and cell phones, my step-son -- addicted to video games -- went from a trim, handsome young man, to an overweight introvert . . . and he's only twenty two year old. Hopefully, someone else will REALLY listen to this song.

It's sad most people don't know this album came out, everyone i know says that dio only did two albums with Sabbath im all like Na Uh!! and there all like prove it! so i make them listen to this :P....\m/ (R.I.P. Dio)
