drwham204....what bam thank you mam!!!! i am sure you havent a clue about the golf technique.The best players swing smoothly though the ball,but do not hit it on purpose,the club does it be retuning to the address position.Therefore the ball will automatically be struck,or hit as you call it,but it's not a deliberate strike.
If you try to use force and whack/strike it then you come out of position and the ball will not be hit out sweetly/ on the sweetspot,and the ball will go everywhere.Idiot!!!

@Collin121490 >_< A good ball striker does compress the ball yes, but by sweeping it the ball compresses far more =equaling more distance and control.......I think you think he is doing something wrong but he isn't by any means

he's not the best ball striker by any means... look at his iron shots, no divots! he sweeps the ball... truly great ball strikers hit down on the ball, trap, and compress it
