CUMMINS TURBO DIESEL DEMOLITION DERBY CAR!!! PLAINS MT

This car ran at the sanders county fair in plains mt. It also had a 1 ton axle under it. Being a mopar fan and a derby fan i though this car was bad ass! When i asked the driver why a cummins he told me that he had plenty to spare. That was hard for me to take because a just dropped 5k on rebuilding mine. @scottrjmatmsncom you must not know much about derbies then because almost every derby car has a diff motor in it and now days most ppl are dropping racing motors in theirs cars... Just saying... you'd be surprised of what ppl are allowed to do

Diesel engines weren't made with speed in mind... but pulling power. I'd rather put the money in making a nice sbc 355 or 377 and put some good gears in the rearend. The floater rearend is a good rearend, but moser makes better axles and I'm guessing the gear in that floater needed changed. Most floater rearends already come with good derby gears in them and some don't.

@dan0champ 1-Weight in big cars is good, 2- deisels run cooler, meaning it takes longer to over heat.
