depending on the weight of the block, height, and the terrain the wall can sink after you get 4 or 5 rows...maybe level until then, then you have to down stack, and start all over...experience, make sure the terrain is as solid as you can get it

yeah those are kinda like leggos. off topic, im doing a patio project and the owner has these old wall caps that he wants me to incorperate into the interlocking in some type of pattern to save costs. The caps are higher than the pavers, would the crusher dust move because of the difference? is there something I should be doing to ajust? as you can tell im new at this :)

With all these knew ways to secure blocks, shouldn't landscape adhiesive still be used?

Adhesive is not necessary to hold the blocks together but can definitely be used to strengthen the wall. If you are worried that something is going to push over or knock over your wall, by all means use adhesive. However keep in mind the average person could not push this over once it is completely installed.

were is the cement? mud??????????

There is no mud. the blocks stack together using the raised rings on the top of the blocks. Kind of like Leggos. If you need more stability you can use masonry glue to secure them in place.
