well in US, the SE model comes standard with a 2.4 4 cyl with 173 hp and 166 lb ft of torque. it has adequate power but highway power could be better. then a 2.7 v6 with 189 hp and 190 lb ft of torque. that is the reccomended engine cuz it has good power and efficiency and optional on SXT model. R/T comes with a 3.5 v6 with 235 hp and 232 lb ft of torque. it has brisk power but sounds like a mechanical mechine. would reccomended 2.7

I own one myself and I love it. Roomy, sporty, and performance it offers and at a great price.

The Avenger would be nice if it offered all-wheel-drive through out the range, but I don't understand why the tailpipe sits so low, it looks like you'll damage it easily,

I cant understand why dodge doesnt make most of their cars with optional manual trans...

I have one and people constantly think it's a Charger. Rides higher than all in it's class and is very roomy because of it. Sweet ride in general.
