it depends on how you use the charater.i use lloyd wisely and reckless but if i`m fighting a enemy that gets behind then i got to use a move can dogde while attacking.haven`t u notice when u attack sometimes some artes move u back enough to dogde and attack again?

Sword Rain is beastly.

And Senel can get behind anyone during any and all combos. How could a sword user match that?

i guess u got a point but i`m still going with lloyd and zelos.they`re my favorite.and who cheats with demon fang?i don`t even like using it that much.i fight near the enemy using mostly moves like sword rain.

I don't. Senel is actually good. In reality, Senel would own Zelos, because Senel also has Demon Fang. (It's called Demon Fist though.) The Legendia character's also have a special guard in their battle system where the Symphonia characters do not. The Legendia chars can literally run through people and get behind them, and even in the Radiant Mythology games, the Symphonia characters cant.

Not to mention that in a 3D battle system, Demon Fang spam won't get you anywhere.
