  • This song's beauty sure can come WITHOUT that much of vibrato.. Too much -_-

  • have you heard her singing i mean really singing? she had to sing this song so much since she was in demand all over the place after her initial debut. everyone has an off day and i agree she's sang better but anyone who's heard her, she is absolutely talented and has a beautiful voice. :)

  • @christinahyejilee agree ^^

  • i think Bae Da Hye ( vanila lucy ) is better than her

  • Sorry, but I've heard MUCH BETTER THAN HER.

  • Sohyun Kim majored vocal music in her university years. it is amazing that she can sing also what ppl say 'pure and crystal clear' way, and also 'operatic' like this video. check /watch?v=DNyFpHXb5Co&feature=related XD she's the best!

  • i much prefer actresses that take from the novel this was based upon, where she is very opinionated and stand-uppish, and blend it into this musical. christine in this musical (my fave musical adaptation) doesn't have much personality at all. shes so passionate in the book, the jump to mousey doesn't work. gina beck and celia graham do a brilliant job of blending leuroux's original personality with the lack of one presented here.

  • I have read several versions of it. In this play where the song comes from, her personality is delicate. She is not that strong. Emotional and angsty yeah, but dependent and scared.

  • xD you have never read the book have you? xD ROFL she's very angsty and emotional and strong.

  • Christine's personality is delicate. Since in the play we don't have too much time to analyze her personality, her voice should reflect that. (As long as they don't push the line between delicate and weak.)

Opera singers have to be able to fit the part.
