2009 Nissan 370z stillen headers, cats, diffusers, no mufflers

Sounds terrible, raspy, blat, blat, blat. Its ike a trombone amplifying the sound of your lips. From 2,500 rpm up it really sounds like garbage. Over 100 db inside cockpit. Taking the rear muffler section off of a stock 370z, on the other hand sounds wonderful!

@bp240 Thanks for the heads up. Not sure if there's anything I can do, since this is not copyrighted. It's actually a pretty crappy hand held camera recording. If he wants to use mine to represent the 370z, I'm not going to trip. I just hope he's not getting paid for hits to his page or something shady like that.

One last thought is that this car weighs roughly the same as the Corvette and is more than 500 pounds lighter than the Camaro. I have full coil over suspension, lowered 1.25", have aftermarket sway bars, camber plates with -2.1 degree camber all around and am running RE11 Potenza's, 275/40/19 front, 305/35/19 rear. It handles way better than my corvette did with the same size tires. On the track, this car is faster than my Corvette at every point except in a straight line.

To answer the criticisms, yes, it is more expensive than a Mustang, slower than a Corvette in all aspects and slower than the new Camaro in the quarter mile. But, it is a nicer car than all of them. I've owned supercharged Mustang Cobra with IRS and I traded in my 2006 Z51 Corvette for this. The Camaro was my first choice for a new car until I drove one. The Camaro is too heavy and doesn't handle well. The build quality on the Z is far superior to any US sports car. Go drive one, u'll C.

Wow. No reason to be brutal over this. I made this video one night just to show what it sounds like with the mufflers off. It's got Stillen G3 intakes, Stillen headers, Stillen high flow cats and Stillen 2.5" exhaust.

I hope you have a tune from the bolt ons and the rpm your shifting at. I have a 370 as well with similar mods, a tune is an absolute must with that many bolt ons. You'll be amazed at the difference a proper fuel air ratio will make.
