@drink2death wrong. 03 Z06 48k MSRP. 03 Cobra MSRP 35k. Nice way to skew facts though. Btw, does the cobra run on a cheap POS unibody? I know the vette uses an tubular style race frame and doesn't have to use dozens of stabilizer bars or reinforced crumple zones. I guess thats one of the reasons why the Z stomps the cob on any track. I'd would hope that DOHC boat anchor 4.6 w/an Eaton M112@8psi uses forged internals. Work on your fact finding. @Soulscarz the 5.8 is DOHC (4cams) 32v (massive heads) weighs more and is dimensionally bigger than the 6.2 OHV (1cam) 16v LS9. Two totally different engines. The 5.8 is a great engine but is much larger and heavier than the LS9. Pound for pound the LS9 puts out more power. The top end speed is mostly about gearing. Ex: callaway sledgehammer corvette , only 800hp but tops 250mph. The corvette has a more steep 6th gear. The Cadillac CTSV weighs 4250lbs w/550hp and hits 191mph. All great cars.

impressive how the new 2013 shelby motor puts out more power then the zr1's engine and the car does 200 mph and its not as aerodynamic
