Japanese cars are history. Asian cars from China and India will dominate the world market in the 21st century~

Good luck with that idea. Cars are an integral part of a developed civilisation, it's the natural progression of things. We will always have them, but that's not to say they will change a lot in the coming decades. Personally, I'm certain Hydrogen is the way forward. And Japanese cars aren't history - we can get cheap asian cars right now from companies like Proton and Ssangyong, but no-one does, because they're rubbish. Japan will continue to lead the market for a long time.

Who says cars have to be an integral part of civilization? Anything that defies natural law is doomed to extinction, and cars that take up land and turn the world into freeways are doing just that. You can't transform all the land that produces food for cars. You'll eventually run out of food.
