If anyone had any doubt that Brad Pitt isn't one of the most brilliant actors of our generation, take a good look at this scene. A lot of actors, particularly ones labeled as "pretty boys", couldn't have pulled this performance off with such conviction.

@Johanproducties I think it's just a photo of her, but they putted that image as a reference to what was crossing Miller's mind. If you notice, it's like a flash of memories are passing in his mind and one of them is these picture of the face of his wife, and it seems like that image it's what makes him decide to pull the trigger, i mean, it appeared in his mind and as it appears he then shoots him without the hesitation he was having before
