Flight on Zeppelin Eureka June 10, 2011

I would like to publicly thank Brian Hall, staff, and flight crew of Airship Ventures for allowing me this opportunity to experience one of the best airship flights I've ever experienced. In a word...unbelievable!!! The pilot, Jim Dexter, is an old friend. We've worked together in the past on the Goodyear and WDL blimps. I've flown with Jim on the WDL blimp, a Lightship, and now a Zeppelin!!!

@VidiYork Actually, the video experience is not at all like the real deal. I posted this to whet the appetite. A flight in the Zeppelin is well worth the price!

Did you know one of these just crashed the other day in Germany. Still yet these are pretty save in good weather conditions. I've flown hang gliders and I'd love to take a flight in one of these with my kids..

@JamesSchultz9 It wasn't one of "these" as you suggest. The Zeppelin employs totally different technology. The only thing in common is that they are both helium-inflated airships. The German incident is indeed a tragedy but lives were saved due to the heroic efforts of the pilot Mike...may he rest in peace.
