Beautiful dedication to a friend.
As with all your films, love em to bits!

try not to be sad, which is difficult, but think of your friend's life as a great concert that you had the pleasure of being a part of. i'm sure he's enjoying a shot of saki with funakoshi and the boys right now.
peace my friends.

I'm so sorry about the death of your friend, Marc Sensei Jon. I really like your videos especially those pertaining to how Zen can be applied to karate. I hope I can buy those videos but I don't have enough money. :-)

My deepest condolances to all whom where touch by this loss. I too suffer from such illnesses and am a karate athlete. I almost succeded in such a "surrender" myself. May he be at ease, and suffer no more.
My close friend and a third part of our film crew, Marc Ekasala died this week. He had been suffering from bi-polar and acute depression for some time. It is a terrible loss for his family and for everyone who met him - he called everyone he met "my new best friend" and he meant it. He loved karate, and was with us when we filmed the above clip at the JKA in Japan. Marc, this is for you from me, Jon
