Halo CE: Anniversary, 'Leave it where it lay' Legendary Achievement Guide (Live commentary)

So you starting weapons on this level are a Plasma Pistol and Shotgun. Turn on the Bandanna skull or you're going to be in for the (very) long (and frustrating) haul.

DON'T try and do this at the same time as 'Look out for the Little Guys' - you're just going to be frustrated.

This was my last achievement to get on my main account, and while I suffered a few deaths, it was still fairly fun to play the level in such a different way once in a while. Not that I'd want to always play it with just those two weapons...

Did you guys like the mini fail-tage? What about this fancy thing at the end with the embedded videos and the links and stuff? Should I keep doing that?

Any other achievements that are bringing you down?

Q: Can I do this co-op? If they pick up a weapon will that screw me over?
A: Yes, you can do this co-op. And if your friend picks up a new weapon and you don't; you're still good. Yes this means they could do all the work for you, but it's more interesting if you actually work for it!!!

Q: If I die can I still get the achievement? What about in co-op if I die?
A: Yes. Deaths don't matter as you saw. No do they in co-op: You just have to stick with your new AR+PP combo rather than the shotgun.

if you do this without bandanna, can you still swap the plasma pistol for another one?

@willemdelport Pretty sure you have to use the same plasma pistol for the entire level. Which means you can only pick up extra grenades and shotty ammo.

@AgeOfSpartans No. That would break the 'no pickup' rule. Try not to die so you can keep the shotty!

Does the Boom skull affect the blast radius of the Wraith tank? Seems like it for me. When you come out to the ground floor, just after the pillars that make you leave your scorpion tank back in AotCR, that wraith kills me even when I'm ten feet back in the hallway. The only conclusion I come up with is the Boom skull.

apapapap. at 21:10 you shouldn't kill the Infection Forms. I call them my Flood Rebel Union :3 They won't attack until fired upon, which is a rather natural... characteristic... of people who are minding their own business.. like eating Elites.. and a Grunt...

3:44 as we see here, there have been covenant dieing on this Halo for thousands of years. Just observe this fine specimen of cave-grunt, encased in a wall of ice.. Poor fellow didn't have a chance..
