Yes, I found communication skills are very effective in the business world, especially if you worked for someone or have to "impress" others.
I found persuasion communication to HR is less effective on application than dropping it at the front door. The truth is that HR are as lazy as any other department in a company, especially in a tough economy and facing thousands of applications a day.

@drdarrylcross yeah. your right. everyone needs good communication and listening skills that is important so that they can interact people in a nice way. sorry for my question. well, im searching on youtube about business human resources management a while ago and i saw this video and I think this video is related to human resources. anyway, thanks for responding.

@24kojiful Hi, I'm not certain what you mean, but these are commonly called "soft" skills in that they are not the "hard" skills of finance and budgeting for example, but nevertheless, are critical to the effective performance of any team. Yes, they are the domain of the Human Resources dept, but equally as well, it could be argued that they are everyone's domain and responsibility not just HR.
