From "Derren Brown: Evening of Wonders": based on the popular "observation test" videos circulated on the internet, Derren Brown tries a similar concept, live on stage, with an extra twist.
The video itself is not an observation test.

I know how he got into the gorilla suit at the end, if you want to figure it out yourself
stop reading now.....
You see when he goes over to the left with the flip-pad, notice that he is right next to the curtain. Well while he's next to that curtain him and another man switch places. Now that the other man is carrying the flip-pad(being careful that you don't see his head) Derren is changing into the gorilla suit then he comes out and reveals himself.

@shoppingartlover Well obviously it is easy to see after the fact, but for those in the audience it must have been baffling. Also he is trying to demonstrate how we don't really take notice of things that are actually happening around us. It is far from stupid as you say.

@yourpersonalspammer it's a joke that only makes sense in the context of the entire show: throughout the show, Derren plays the Circle Game with the audience.

@yourpersonalspammer: Not off the top of my head, for non-UK viewers (if you're in the UK, Channel 4 has put the entire show on YouTube). It is available on region 2 DVD if you can't find an online version.
