I couldn't find this anywhere on You Tube so I decided to upload it myself. I figured there must be a lot of people who are looking for this just as I was. I don''t have the MP3 for this theme, I ripped the music from the game using the VirtualNES emulator and the "record wave" option.

I just recently found out that there is this website called Contra Headquarters that has the majority of contra music ready to download. The only down side is that you have to sign up for some website in order to download the music. If you don't want to do that I can send you the music file I created and you might be able to find a way to convert it to mp3. If you have any questions about Contra Headquarters you can message me.

I used to have nightmares with this intro music. The ghost or monster's shadow would appear in the dark hallway lit by a little light with this intro music. It freaked me the fuck out. I was probably 2 or 3 years old.
