In July 2011, migrant form Central America undertook a Caravan to Mexico City to make themselves heard and stop the outrages to their family members who have been kidnaped or murder as they were trying to make their way into the US.
Clinging to the heated metal, migrants traveling on
under the burning sun,
sometimes without water and food,
but with some money to pay the "coyote."
They dream of a better future for themselves and their families.
Migrant men and women are kidnapped,
extorted, tortured, raped,
enslaved and murdered,
by Organized Crime
often with the consent
and participation of the police
and immigration authorities from Mexico.
