Hindus really want to hate it due to it being islamic ..also Hindus,sikhs being killed abused by the moguls - MUSLIM MOGULS. They hate deep hate really. but they cant hate .. the beauty is too overpowering. @hornybrownguy what are you talkimg about? its a muslim monument, its been well documented . All the holy texts all around the taj placed in art..what does it mean? - its talking of heaven, devine creator - GOD. Shajahan was and died a muslim.

taj is not a muslim monument, it is has no religious connotations. it is a mughal monument and mughal is a cultural family line that was secular. architecture is persian-indian mixture with indian (ie. muslims and hindus) architectures building it. the white marble stone and other stones came from rajasthan and indian craftsman did this. dont bring religion. islam discourages arts and crafts, painting to some extent.
