Back to the burn minus wind and rain... its actually quite a nice place. The first guy in the video (the one with Talent) is a local rider named Rob. Another local fella Steve was showing us all the steep chutes in the upper area... we only did the first 2... the third was even steeper...
Si and I did our bit for Bike Karma and did a couple of hours trail building with the SingleTraction group... made us feel all warm inside.
Just been shown this Nick that's Rob Young at the start, he cam to the Blacha last year and did one run before he had to rush off.

is the local guy called Rob, Rob Jarman by any chance. i read in MBUK this month he lives close to stainburn, and loves ridin there. in mbuk he's riding a green marin quad xlt. is this the guy you saw?
