That was Ron Pickering, a well known British sports presenter from the 70s and 80s.

He was a very dedicated man to British athletics.

"Evil" was a little bit too strong a word, but I can only imagine he meant the people who encouraged Ben to do it.

@cookiegate Yeah, if somebody beats me fair and square, l will give credit where it's due. If somebody has to cheat to win and l know they are cheating, l would probably laugh at them and drop off graciously. If somebody have to cheat to win, then they are the biggest loser, in any game.

@paweng1 I'm not sure if it was the just the people who encouraged Ben to take drugs or if it was is own ambition that made him do it. I really think that even in a perfect world where nobody cheats, l think it's going to be a least somebody who is going to take winning and losing very seriously and resort to anything to make them win and to secure their ego. It is a hardball world and that can be considered EVIL.
