I have always felt there is hardly any music that is as timeless as Pink Floyd's. It was so far ahead of its time and still feels modern no matter how many times you listen to it.
The only other band that comes close is Creedence Clearwater Revival because everytime I hear their music its just like the first time.
Modern rock music lacks the meaning, feeling, and the experience. Its so commercialized and out for profit that it forgets the true meaning and purpose of rock and roll.
jokersgotu, It isnt about the frigging singing. its about how freaking musicly talented these guys are. No one gives a shit about ur pussy idols. they're gay. this solo is considered the best solo of all time by a lot of people so shut the hell up
some people here criticise pink floyd...but listen them....their harmony..even after 24 yars..that's really art....and please,if you're able...compare them with the actual music....be serious....
