CNC Machine After Being Fixed

I replaced the nylon nuts on the CNC machine with steel nuts. The Nylon nuts stripped. I also tightened the connection between the motors and the screw rods.

If you get a digital indicator from harbor tool and freight with the mount you can calibrate it to a higher degree.

Actually it wasn't too hard to make it, but it wasn't very accurate. I have sense destroyed the machine and kept the electronics for another machine I plan to build over the next few years in my spare time. There are plenty of guides on the net, just google for them.

There are a few programs out there that can import pictures, however I haven't found a good one that is 3D and free. I used a couple CAD programs. One called AutoEditNC and the other called Gsimple, both for Windows. The CAM program used in this video is Mach 3.

Actually, I'm just a new hobbiest, I'm not sure about career stuff in CNC. You can probably find tons of information like that in the forums over at cnczone(dot)com I'm sure. They know MUCH MUCH more than I do, and they will likely be glad to help.
