All the guests arrive at the engagement ceremony & the celebration is going on. There are folk dancers who perform at the function & Kadambari gets an idea of thinks of absconding from the ceremony in disguise as one of the folk dancers. Santu doubts Kadambaris intentions & follows her to the room where all the fold dancers are but is unable to identify Kadambari. As Kadambari is just about to leave, she realizes that she has forgotten her cell phone.Traulataben asks Kadamabri to serve the guests thinking that she is a servant as she is dressed up as a villager. Santu is looking for Kadambari everywhere but is unable to trace her. She hears a cell phone ringing & notices that its Kadambaris phone & she answers the call. Sandeep is on the line & he informs that he is outside waiting for Kadamabri. Santu rushes outside the house & meets Sandeep. She explains him that absconding is not the only solution. She also explains him that running away this way will an insult to Dharamraaj & destroy the name & fame of the entire family. Kadamabri also reaches there & asks Sandeep to take her away. He explains her that absconding is not the right solution & convinces her to return. He assures her by giving an engagement ring that they will get married but she should get engaged for the sake of her father. Dharamraaj asks Khemi & Tarulataben to get Santu & Kadambari as the ceremony is about to begin. Tarulataben informs Dharamraaj that Kadambari is missing in the room & she has looked for her everywhere but is unable to trace her. Dharamraaj himself goes to Kadambaris room & he finds Kadambari there. Kadambari feels relieved that she was not caught & reached the room on time. Dharamraaj explains her that he can empathize with her feelings, how nervous would she be & also reveals to her about the nervousness he & Subhadra experienced at the time of their engagement. He tries to pacify Kadambaris nervousness. Santu thanks Sandeep for explaining & convincing Kadambari to return & Sandeep leaves.
