Beer Bros is the creation of film maker Darren Lee and stand up comedian Phil McEwan.

Darren "We wanted to create something for television that's more in touch with Northern Irish humour. We felt televised NI comedies weren't properly representing the youth culture of Northern Ireland. So we set out to fill that gap. Our aim is to get this commissioned but at the very least make ourselves known to television networks as new upcoming talent".

The teaser is 6 minutes long. The full length episode is 22 minute.

Darren Fish
Lovable, boyish, charming, charismatic. All of these are words, none of which describe moronic, juvenile, egotistical, delusional, alcoholic Darren Fish. Darren is one tank top away from being an actual gypsy and to call him the hero of our tale would be a disgusting overstatement. Never the less Darren became smitten with girlfriend Alex one year ago when she threw money at him at a bus stop because she thought he was a crusty old tramp, after using the money for bus fare Darren followed Alex home and the romance blossomed from there because they're both a bit slow. Darren has recently been thrust into a dangerous world of Kung-fu, street gangs and beer fuelled menace at the hands of Alex's vigilante brother Joe, his task, to prove himself worthy of Alex's companionship. What else would this jobless dunce do? Darren's only Allies are friends Murry and Phil.

Murry Love
In seclusion for most of the 70's, then one day in 1984 Murry escaped from his dad's condom. Murry was born later that year at the botanical gardens, his mother just thought she needed a large emergency poo and ducked down behind a bush, afraid to look down at such a massive load his mother simply wiped her bum with a leaf and walked off, completely unaware that she had just given birth to Murry. Murry spent his next few years surviving on sticks and left over Chinese take away which drunken students had dumped on the roof of his shanty home/bin. He lived like a wild animal until the feral child was taken in by a rich old man who taught him English and fed and clothed him. Despite all the rich man's best intentions Murry's brain didn't develop as well as it should of and to this day he is considered a dullard by everyone he meets, using sarcasm to mask his lack of brain power as well as ingesting copious amounts of beer and prawn cocktail crisps just to function on a daily basis. He is usually paired up with Phil in a harebrained scheme.

Phil Vaffanculo
At 8 feet tall Phil is the tallest of the beer bros. Phil is a sexual deviant who on the outset appears homosexual, but on further inspection it is clear that his perversions go much deeper and darker to incorporate all sexes and species. Phil is a budding pornographic film director responsible for films such as dirty dancing, big, Jaws, Moby dick, Dirty Harry, chitty chitty bang bang, and the lord of the rings. The list goes on. He is on a different plane of reality with no real concept of what is going on around him, he treads a fine line between genius and autism, many attribute his strange outlook on life to 3 years spent living with Michael Jackson. He has killed at least twice that we know of and probably will again. Phil has a gut churning dislike towards Alex. He is also a talented ventriloquist who says "I love nothing more than putting my hand up some dummy and making him scream"
