It's always a "racial issue." What about the economic issue? What about the legal issue (immigrating illegally)? What about the over-population issues? Do those issues not matter?

Ms. Martinez is LYING through her teeth..The law does NOT say people will be stopped and asked for thier ID..It states, that if a person has ALREADY been stopped for another violation, they can be asked for proof of citizenship..What's wrong with that ?

@irshc Well said. So much of the problem is those here unlawfully have been getting away with it for so long. When the existing laws are finally strengthened and enforced, they cry and shout 'racist' as a way to halt all reasonable and logical debate. The key term is illegal.
