Hi. I'm looking at the Alienware M15x (b/c my pc has a crappy chipset) but I want to make sure that Alienware is a good choice to go with before I save/spend that kinda money.
Would you recommend it? I've bought a lot of games on Steam like Tomb Raider Underworld, Amnesia, Mirrors Edge, L4D, and none of them play because of my generic intel chipset. (but yet I can play portal and half life series)

@garrettman94 I played Crysis start to finish with mine one day. It took a good amount of hours. At least with mine it did not get Hot. I admit it got warm but once I shut of the game it only took 30 min or so to cool right down. Insted of getting hot mine just went crazy with the fans ever 30 min or so for about a min. Only bad thing about that is it sucks up dust. Just take the cover off and clean it. I LOVE mine. But it got a little scratch on the outside lid. *Crys!!!*

hmmm, well thats a good Q. im not sure. but the design is very impressive. its designed to keep cool through tough gaming. id say if u put ur hand over your mouth and made your breath as hot as it can go, thats about what it feels like. i have not had any heating problems what so ever. if ur playing a game thats not as intense, it tends to suck air in one side and blow hot air out the other. thanks for the comment.

i might think of getting the laptop, but there were problems about people saying it overheats. I would reccommend download rivia tuner or a temperature monitoring application to see if the laptop is too hot
