This is a Lupin vid for Potter Country's VOTM contest for August 07.
It is from Tonks's POV. She has fallen in love with Remus and wants to be with him but understands all the heartache that he has had to endure over the years. The only time he has ever been accepted is at Hogwarts with his friends. He then loses James and Lily (and seemingly Peter) and has to come to terms with Sirius's betrayal. Twelve years later he finds out that Peter is still alive and that Sirius is innocent - YAY! Party time!! Then only two years later Sirius is killed. The devastation of losing Sirius again must have been overwhelming! The last thing he wants is someone else to love only to lose again, especially since the War's about to kick off big time. There is also the problem of his being a werewolf. Tonks understands this and is willing to live with it, but again, realises that this is another reason why Remus is reluctant.
The music is David Bowie from the Labyrinth soundtrack and I feel the words are SO appropriate for Tonks to be singing to Lupin. She WILL be there for him when his world falls down!
I was going to put their story as of Deathly Hallows in but decided not to for those who haven't read it yet!
