P.o.P. experimental projection study | 3D video mapping | augmented prototyping

The video shows an experimental study dealing with 3D video mapping on a complex structure (augmented prototyping). The aim was to experience different mapping techniques and visualizations as much as to develop a practice related workflow. The structure of the object provides a very complex level to reveal the difficulties within this project.

P.o.P. (Passgenaue objektorientierte Projektion) zeigt die Ergebnisse eines Forschungs-Projektes im Bereich '3D Video Mapping' - speziell angewendet auf komplexen reellen Objekt-Strukturen.
Zentraler Ausgangspunkt war die Arbeit mit verschiedenen Mapping-Technologien und Möglichkeiten der Visualisierung - genauso wie die Erarbeitung eines Workflow, der praktische Anwendung finden kann.
Die Objektstruktur des verwendeteten Auto-Modells bot dabei hinreichend Komplexität, um inhaltliche und technische Problemstellungen aufzudecken und zu durchdringen.

wow Leute! das is so "fresh" unglaublich geil !

ich würde gerne mit nem Kumpel zusammen ins thema einarbeiten und zumindest mal einfachere projectionen in der zimmerecke ausprobieren.

Könnt ihr mir bitte eine einsteiger-software empfehlen die den beamer ansteuert ? :)

3dsmax und aftereffects kenntnisse sind vorhanden jedoch hab ich keine software für den pc gefunden die das 3d mapping im letzten schritt bearbeiten lässt.

Pretty cool. From the side view the passenger's look very cool. Problem is when the passengers / interior is projected to the front wind screen then it starts to look unnaturally warped.
