The fact that Paul Weyrich would join the American Civil Liberties Union sheds him in a better light. It matters not to me if he joined because of his dislike of Hillary Clinton. This comes to prove how broad the ACLU is. Contrary to right-wing talking points, the ACLU is not just a group of liberals trying to get rid of conservatism. The ACLU is quite diverse when someone like the late William Kunstler (too left for me) and the late Paul Weyrich (too right for me) were members.
