i love both boxers and have followed them closely since the beggining.i boxed on the same card as andy in wexford in 03 and he was always a hall of famer.macklin is powerful and has improved immensly since his fight with moore as a technical boxer.he was just a brawler but that has changed.

andy wins for by decision.he just learned his boxing that bit better and when the chips are down i think he's just that bit classier than macklin.

Macklin-no doubt-hugely intelligent-seen the error of his ways-the guys a huge body puncher-the strength on him! And he used to go over there after a fight to play Gaelic. He's matured. He's massively on form. He'll take a world title.

lee should win this, lee has now settled in his metabolism, has gained so much power, and makes the weight comfortable. he is your stereotypical manny steward stable fighter, he uses the ring perfectly now, can make it as big or little as his wants in a second considering his first class footwork.

macklin who i rate as a potential WC, would need to be patient, and hope lee gets drawn into a tear up in the mid-late rounds, then KO him, but i would expect Lee to be very composed in this fight,
