Circuit Bent VTech Phonics Board

One that wasn't too hard of a bend, again from VTech, a phonics board. I'm looking around but I hope I can find a way to record that screen because it looks great when it gets all scrambled.
Sadly, this toy now ceases to work.

I would only guess he used an oscillator or something like that to where the resistor controlling playback speed would be found..... but I don't bend any more so maybe things have changed!
