This is an absolute obscenity and an indellible stain on the face of the supposedly upright U.S. "Justice" System. From now on all cases should be viewed in llight of this. Giving someone 10 years in prison on tax evasion, for instance. The U.S. government has become criminal, and as you can see, their money is more important than human life. Disgusting. Utterly disgusting. This is the denouement and full expression of leftist, liberal democrat, progressive thinking. Murder is okay for women.

I also grew up in the Church of Christ & am married to a wonderful Christian man. I have never felt mistreated. The Church has members who do not show a Christian, caring attitude toward others. They will have to answer for that in the Final Judgdment. All of Selmer isn't made up of members of the Church of Christ. If she was really abused, she could have found help. Her behavior after being released told me why she really murdered him. She did NOT WANT to be a preacher's wife!!!

The Church of Christ believes what the Bible says that the husband is to love his wife as his own flesh as Christ loved the Church & gave His life for it. This would eleminate abuse, rape, anal sex or porn. There are members of the Church of Christ who do not live up to the Bible's teachings just as there is in any religious group. There was no evidence, except her word which wasn't worth much, that Matt was that kind of man. We watched the full trial. There were many lies told.

Local news is for gullible imbeciles who lack the capacity to think for themselves. This woman murdered her husband and got off scot-free. That is ALL there is to it.
