Pet Expo Vancouver Canada January 2006. Birds pluck out their own feathers when they are stressed or neglected and the feathers do not grow back. This bird was saved by someone who loves it and it is now a very happy creature in a loving and caring home. The song is, of course, Bohemian Rhapsody by Queen.

  • Wrong choice in music. Yellow mohawk? That bird is clearly into punk. ;)

  • My lovebird plucked some of his feathers when his partner died, and even tho he is happy now, the feathers didn't grow back. Anyway, cockatoo headbang too precious for words :D

  • rock on little birdy

  • Keep rockin', my little friend B)

  • HOLY SHIT

  • @sidekickwannabe actually birds can become feather pickers regardless of stress or neglect. I have a cockatoo that has been half naked for almost 20 years and she is neither. The vets said it's like humans who chew fingernails or their hair. With birds it becomes neurotic.

  • @cemtexx READ THE DESCRIPTION!!!!

  • @sidekickwannabe must be very frustrating having to deal with all these ignorant people

  • @VengeJahka Actually if youve read the description youd see that he was plucking his feathers because of stress...but yes they do molt.

  • @TeenageSuicideDoIt uhmmmm... no emo kid... that's just what birds do sometimes... it's called molting.
