Very fine mare!

Beautiful. This is an example of how we should keep our animals instead of sending them to be slaughtered, having their necks cut and having them bleed out while still conscious.

Twins are not rare because most breeders get the mare palpaited and they smush the twin at 20-30 days in utero. They should have stood him to nurse or milked her and if had to made a stock for her to be in so he could nurse. He probably would be bigger if he had been nursing.

I am hard pressed to believe those are twins. The "bigger" one is already shedding out its foal coat around the muzzle and eyes. The alleged "smaller twin" still has an umbilical stump, and has no shaved areas on its neck (or hair regrowth) from a catheter or IV support therapy it would have received. Rejection by a mare is not "normal" for twins. A lower percentage of twins are rejected than singletons. As a repro vet of 20 years, I can say a lot of the information presented is false.

These horses are gorgeous, I'm just really confused as to why it's "rare".

@TJY5991 Perhaps because the title says "trail" not "trial".

He is adorable! My hand mom raised a "Dwarf" foal that was born to a shetland pony a rancher gave her. He said it won't live but it did. She gave it away when it got older because it had hoof problems and our family was poor and no money for professional farrier services to correct his feet.
wow he's a cute little thing good thing momma let him nurse
