Advice on fundoscopy; when looking in the right eye, look through your right eye and when looking into the left eye look through your left eye. Patients feel a little more comfortable when you aren't putting yourself "nose-to-nose" with them... I suppose pediatrics may not care as much though!

@vegansean1 That is a great textbook point... as long as the physician is not strongly right eye dominant. When that happens you need to use your right eye for all fundoscopy or you will never see the fundus. A good exam is better than a following the textbook.
