A recap on Martin Luther King weekend at the O Park at the Otsego Club in Gaylord, MI.
Friday night we enjoyed the Championship Freeride Series Friday Night Rail Jam. Redbull brought their MXT vehicle out and everybody enjoyed the music, drinks, and video games.
Saturday the Olympic Teams of Australia, New Zealand, and Japan started practicing on the Half Pipe aka 22 foot Super Pipe by Planet Snow. They were killing it. James Hamilton was throwing double corks into the AcroBag and Torah Bright was practicing 720s in the Super Pipe. Kazuhiro Kokubo went huge with 1080s to impress the crowd. Pat Milbery held his Mighty Midwest Snowboard camp and some progression sessions and awarded some special kids with some special prizes.
Sunday was another beautiful day at the O Park, with Pat Milbery finishing up his clinic, the Olympians practiced more pipe, and everybody enjoyed the awesome weather mother nature treated us to.
