@appies34 Kenosha is a great town! There are a lot of children, so there's no need to worry about loneliness ;) Kenosha is at a greater risk of Tornadoes, but that's only because we live on the coast of Lake Michigan. Racine is just north of Kenosha, and it's a nice town as well.
Kenisha is not a bad city at all! When this tornado hit i was in band class and had to evacuate i thought it was a joke cause usually i dont think of a tornado hitting in the middle of january but it did SCARY
@appies34 No. Especially in January they are not. Blizzards, not tornadoes! LOL! A couple miles east of this location that same day, a small town was destroyed!
I live on the northside of Kenosha and the tornado touched down about a half mile from my home. It was extremely odd to have 65+ temperatures a tornadoes in January, the funny thing about it was temps dropped back into the 20's and a foot of snow fell a few days later........damn Wisconsin weather...lol

Is Kenosha a bad town? If so, what's bad about it? Are there other nice towns in the surrounding area for a family with small children? :)

@appies34 tornadoes just nearly had 1 today but not overly common. You have much bigger worries concerning that town haha.

I'm going to be moving to the area in 2011. Are tornadoes common in Kenosha?

That's why I hated living in Woodcreek, because there are no basements in those apartments.
