@BonnieBlueFlag1314 Most Scots would never consider themselves English but they do still consider themselves both Scottish and British in identity to some degree, hence the fact we are still in the UK. Most native Scots in pre-union history identify with themselves as Scots against the English but in post-union times they identity with Britain and the British side in history, be it Waterloo, WWI, WWII, you name it.
