Considering that Hollywood began with "Birth of a Nation," a movie that glorified the KKK, I'd say Hollywood has actually improved. Furthermore, there will always be cheesy movies with no story merit and movies that have great stories and no cheese. There's a place for all of them.

That's the only reason I watch them. I like to watch shit blow up. The movie, outside of buildings falling down and things blowing up, has no merit. You certainly don't go watch it for the story. It's always banal and trite. You could walk out after the disaster's finished and never miss anything.

This is pure awesomeness and is possibly the only way this movie makes sense. Obviously somebody screwed up on the soundtrack and swapped in the wrong music in the theatrical release.

I was honestly hoping for Benny Hill, however, this did not disappoint.

I'm glad I'm the only one who thought of Yakkity Sax. However, this was pure brilliance.

I think this is the only way I would see this movie.

And they're actually marketing this movie towards adults?

Of course, there are adults who genuinely believe the world will end in 2012, so I guess the joke's on me.
