I've heard many Americans saying that we should just nuke the middle-east to glass and rebuild it from scratch.
Well, pick your city. Noone can assume to just blow stuff up and not receive retaliation. Every death of an Iraqi or Iranian has a high potential to create an extremist simply because we killed their monther, father, sister, brother, uncle, aunt, cousin 10 times removed, etc.
Think of your own family and what you would do if someone of another country killed them. Think of the blood that people of America called out for on 9/11 because people considered an attack on American soil to be wrong.
Wrong because it was our soil. Does that make the wars in the middle-east any less wrong?
not to the people who live there.
Americans have disassociated themselves to the rest of the world, and even through the last decade of maps and charts and geographical outlines, most Americans don't even know where Iraq and Iran are!
Most Americans believe that Iraq and Iran are friends and have totally forgotten the Gulf War and the fact that there is still conflict there.
What is worse than all of these facts is that there are too many people who believe that Democracy will be formed from the intervention of the United States.
Democracy is great if it works. How do you tell someone they are free when you have a rifle pointed at them? How do you decide that what the US Military is doing in the middle-east is actually better than what would happen without them?
FURTHERMORE!! It seems largely hypocritical that they are working for a Democracy in Iraq and touting freedom in Iraq when they helped OVERTHROW IRAN'S DEMOCRACY AND PLACED IN A PUPPET DICTATOR!!
There are no simple answers, but from the census I've seen on this subject, most people know we are losing the wars over there, but just don't want to back down because "We are America!"
Sorry folks, this isn't Rambo, RoboCop, or Counter-Strike. It's the real deal. No reset, no time-outs, no rewinds, no extra lives, no cheat codes. There is no getting up from this shotgun-barrel sucking that Bush has us heading.
McCain says we may be there for hundreds and thousands of years in Iraq and to bomb Iran. Hillar wants to "Obliterate" countries threatening Israel.
and Obama apparently wants to sit down with Hammas, which I think is a good idea, but who is also officially a "terrorist" group. America doesn't negotiate with terrorists, and has declared a "war on terror" - whatever that means.
As Ron Paul once said, "Terror is a tactic. You can't wage war on a tactic."
can iranian missiles reach the usaaaaaa .... please does any body know , and how

the longest range missiles in the world would find it very difficult to reach that distance. As far as I'm aware (i am not an expert) it is unlikely that Iran would even have top-notch weaponry of this scale.
North America also has some of the most sophisticated defense systems available to protect against that.
Keep in mind though, what this man says is that a city will be hit in retaliation. He doesn't say Iran will shoot a missile from Iran. There are other ways, just watch movies to see some

war sucks. at the end of the day it your choice whether or not to pull the trigger on an innocent life so a rich man thousands of miles away can get richer. it's your choice. i don't support any troops. without troops the power mongers cannot have their wars. and america isn't a free country. you've been tricked and fooled since childhood to believe it and never taught how to critically think about the world around you.

@wanderer1031
did you even watch the video? Your post tells me you didn`t since the msg is to NOT nuke the middle east.
PS i'm Canadian, don't support military or war, & you assume to much.
unfortunately, your version of critical thinking is imagining a fairy-tale world with no armies. Go daydream somewhere else. America is not the only power/resource hungry country on the planet. Do not mistake every person on Youtube as an idiot or you will resemble that which you rightfully despise.

without any leaders, who'd start all the wars?
wanderer1031 2 years ago 4
if history is an indicator, people in groups look towards individuals for guidance... I know what you mean but I think many of us are predisposed to being sheeple
I might ask, without leaders what would we do?
the answer to this may be more beneficial :)
