Three years ago we erected our first 60ft x 24ft poly tunnel on our farm in Upton Cheyney, which is a small village situated on the edge of the Cotswolds between the cities of Bristol and Bath in the UK. We did this prior to having ever grown a chilli plant.
Three years on we have four tunnels, and as of yesterday (May 21st 2011) we are very glad that after 5 months of tunnel building, germinating, potting on and potting out, we have finally finished this years base work.
This video shows the chilli farm in its early stages, prior to pod development. Give it a couple of months however and the farm will look very different indeed!
We hope that you enjoy the video, and should you wish to try any of the products that we manufacture please do visit our website - www.uptonchilli.co.uk,
Wow! Would love to come visit sometime!

may i ask how far aprt do you plant your chilli plants in your poly tunnels as i'm thinking of using raised beds like you have used rather than pots in my home poly tunnel next year so any advice would be great

Hi Alex and Co. Mate, you're a smart man to use 'green-houses'/poly tunnels. Listen to this youtube.com/watch?v=bgYlKN8qQAQ and then keep using them. I am going to build one in my back yard just because of the threat coming from Japan. Stay safe and informed, mate! Cheers!
