I use a DSi and the buttons are not like a ds lite. And i didnt even think about using a thing like that? Luckily my thumb isnt broken =)

Those ds phats are rough on the thumb if you slide your thumb to mt. I did the same before getting a ds lite, but used a sock or t shirt instead :]
