"Some Really fine acoustic blues and refreshing to hear something that's not heavy duty Delta style. Jaunty and enjoyable and worth looking into." -- Blues in Britain magazine

The aptly named CD Better late than never is now available and has received some airtime on BBC radio and has been rated 8/10 by Blues in Britain magazine.

Chris Berry: guitar and vocals A solo artist since the late 60s, Chris also spent two years on the New Orleans music bar and coffee house circuit as a singer/songwriter, and ten productive years in California and Texas. His fingerpicking Texas blues guitar playing combines with a fine bluesman's voice - intensely expressive and impressive, whether singing slow blues or driving R'n'B. Drawing on influences from John Renbourne to Bonnie Raitt, Louis Armstrong to B.B.King, Chris Berry and Dave Ferra combine to produce some authentic good-time blues music with a feel of New Orleans and beyond. Dave Ferra: guitar, slide, harmonica and vocals Dave has played his blues, spirituals and ragtime, on 12 string guitar, slide guitar, rack harmonica for many years around the South of England. His varied blues repertoire ranges from pre-war Delta to Duster Bennett and Jimmy Reed. Dave's light timbre voice and wide instrumental range perfectly suit his raggy East Coast style. You'll particularly love the slide and harp work. With a couple of strong solo CDs behind him, Dave now joins up with Chris to form Porch Swing Blues.
