    In reality, they should do the same damage, but the scar needs to have less accuracy, lower muzzle velocity, and slightly higher recoin due to the carbine barrel length. Although, the SCAR series could have a carbine barrel or an assault barrel. I have seen SCAR-Hs with long barrels, and I have seen SCAR-Ls with short barrels.

    I think it used to but it has been nerfed because it was to powerful with the low recoil.

    It's a website with graphs for multiple games that really allows you to understand the performance of a gun.
